Meditations manifests my experience traversing through conflicts within my parents’ marriage and this suffocating environment of love. From attempting to mask my emotions to finding distractions, these abstract work pieces meditate and reflect on my personal growth and destruction through these delicate relationships. These animations and paintings are conversations between traditional Western mediums and Chinese symbolisms, hinting at my core growing up in mainland China and learning my way of expression in the States.
